After trying (and loving) the Double Drip eLiquids also produced by Vapouriz, I was excited at the prospect of testing these ones out too.

Vapouriz is proud to carefully create all of its products, all in registered clean rooms, ensuring the the highest standard possible.

This range is available in 10ml and some 50ml short fills. At the moment, only four flavours are in the short fill size, Blackberry Grape Spritz, Menthol Mist, Blue Raspberry and Pink Fizz.

These eLiquids are 80/20 VG/PG, and are ideal for sub ohm vaping, ensuring great cloud production and a full, well rounded flavour.

I have been trying these eLiquids out on an RDA setup, with a dual coil build reading 0.2ohms. I re wick before each flavour to get the full potential out of each juice.

Blue Raspberry

As a firm favourite of mine, blue raspberry eLiquids hold a special place in my daily juice arsenal. I have tried many different takes on this widely popular flavour profile, and, despite being partial to it, I can pick apart certain juices and assess the different elements found in different recipes. It tastes like a blue slushie, sour and sweet and very refreshing!

It is a smooth, fruity flavour that is perfect for when you are after a sweet, not overly strong tasting yet revitalising raspberry.

I liked the mildness of this eLiquid, mixed with a very palatable and slightly 'zingy' aftertaste.

I have come across many that err on the side of iciness, and I personally do not like that. However, with this juice there was no element of menthol to ruin the effect of the fruity raspberry.

This is a no frills, straight up blue raspberry, it tastes nice and is very easy to vape.

Pink Fizz

Pink Fizz is a rather unique set of tastes. Straight away there is a blast of sweet, flavourful and ripe berries, this is most noticeable on smelling the liquid. When vaping, however, there is a more prominent note of a fizzy but mild champagne.

As someone who rarely drinks alcohol, it was an interesting flavour to vape. The berry elements so

rt of made up the majority of the flavour, and I felt like the two main constituents worked well with one another, combining to create a sweet and refreshing eLiquid.

I particularly enjoyed the overall freshness to this flavour, it would be an ideal summertime vape.

Blackberry Grape Spritz

Saving the best for last, we have 'Blackberry Grape Spritz' a delicious blend of juicy, ripe berry and sweet, tangy grape.

It is a great, fulfilling flavour that is very easy to get through. The smell of this eLiquid was extremely fresh and enticing, and vaping it was even better!

First, you get a slightly sour blackberry that makes your mouth water, and upon exhale, the grape takes the reigns and finishes off the flavour in a sweet and almost bubblegummy fashion.

Even the smell of the vapour draws attention from others, asking what flavour I am using.

Overall, there was a very revitalising nature to this juice that set it apart from many I have tried in my time as a vape reviewer.

As I mentioned earlier, it is very easy to vape this juice, as it is so more-ish and not easy to get sick of.

Definitely my favourite in this line!

Vaporesso has a great track record, and have proved to be very reliable when it comes to functionality and build quality, not to mention that it boasts a competitive price when compared to other similar high performance mods.

Today, I will be looking at the Vaporesso Revenger X kit. A fantastic and surprisingly efficient set up that is perfect for those who are seeking big clouds and an easy to use interface.

The technical Specs are as follows:

The tank that comes with this kit is an NRG Mini, and with TPD regulations in force, it holds a maximum of 2ml. It weighs in at 48g and has a standard 510 pin (meaning it will fit on nearly any mod)

The first thing I can say when I vaped this device, would be that it hits hard. With its modest exterior, I was not expecting to get such a powerful and satisfying inhale. Now that is partly down to the fantastic NRG Mini tank. The pre-installed coil is 0.15 ohm, meaning that you have a wide window to adjust the wattage to your preference.

Vapour production is, again, more than I expected, so this kit will be perfect for intermediate to advanced vapers, or for those who are starting there sub ohm journey. On that note, I wouldn't recommend using any eLiquid above a 6mg strength – any more than that you will more than likely rip your throat out! (well maybe that's a little exaggeration but it won't be nice!)

There are variable settings on this mod that allow you to choose a wide range of output modes, including Variable Wattage, Temperature Control and BYPASS mode.

If you decide to utilise the VW, you can further adjust he strength of hit you prefer, namely SOFT, NORMAL and HIGH. This is pretty self explanatory, Soft offers a smooth and mild hit, normal is just average and high gives you a more potent and warm inhale.

Now, not only does this kit boast impressive functionality and reliable performance, but it is also very stylish and pleasant to hold. It comes in a variety of colours (Green, Red, Rainbow, Black & Blue) , along with matching tanks. The button and screen set up is rather unique, it features a normal 'clicky' fire button, as well as three touchscreen-like buttons that cause the mod to vibrate when touched. It can take a little bit of getting used to when you first pick up this device.

This mod requires 2 x 18650 batteries (sold separately) and can be charged via USB, although we strongly suggest a more reliable and faster external charger.

Overall, I found this kit to be an all round decent piece of kit. It looks sleek and well designed, the ergonomics are on point and of course, the performance was out of this world!!!

*NEW MOD REVIEW* VCIGO Moon Box kit from Sigelei

INTRO

The VCIGO Moon Box is a welcomed addition to the Sigelei family, and is certainly unique when it comes to looks and functionality. After the great success that was found with the Moonshot RDTA, they have come out with the Moon Box. This mod comes as a kit with the Moonshot RDTA, of which I will mention later.

As a kit, the average RRP is a decent £25-£35. Making it a competitive and well designed contender for intermediate to advance vapers.

THE MOD

The Moon Box is a regulated, dual 18650 box mod, with an adjustable 4 way wattage dial, ranging from 50W, 100W, 150W, 200W.

It is crafted uniquely, utilising a light, yet durable tin plate that comes in three different colour schemes that are funky and modern. It feels light to hold, but still robust and the finish is smooth and stylish. It is very reminiscent of the tin that the Moonshot RDTA comes in, although it has obviously modified to be used as a high powered box mod.

This mod is incredibly easy to operate, and performs well. I got some really decent hits, both when using a rebuildable atomiser and when using a standard sub ohm tank.

One thing you will notice, is the fact that there is no screen to see the ohms/voltage/battery life etc. You can see the dial to find out the wattage, but everything else is a bit of guess work. You can switch this mod on or off by clicking the fire button 5 times. It has an option of charging the device via micro USB, although it is highly recommended to charge your batteries through a purpose made external battery charger.

THE RTA

I have had a Moon Shot RDTA in the past, but didn't use it as much over time, due to the fact I much preferred vaping using an RDA.

However, when I got this kit, I popped some new coils in it and carefully wicked it. Now I have heard that a large proportion of vapers who have this RDTA, have experienced issues such as leaking as well as dry hits. All I can say is put a decent, preferably high gauge wire dual build, and practice practice practice when it comes to the wicking. It is not an easy job, but you will know when you've got it, as you will get a hefty hit, plus incredible flavour, and you won't have to worry when it comes to leaks or dry hits.

The whole RDTA is a little tricky when you first look at it. It breaks down into about 5 separate pieces, and it is advised that you do some research on YouTube when you decide to put a build in. The deck is small, so it's probably best to build small, compact coils. However this size is quite refreshing, as there are so many huge rebuildable tanks out there, in fact, I would say that the flavour and vapour production rivals some of the better known, bulkier tanks.

WHAT I LIKED

- The unique look of the mod.

- The compact yet powerful hit when using the Moon Shot RDTA

- The price is crazy for what you are getting, making this an ideal set up for those who are on a budget but don't want to scrimp when it comes to quality.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE

-The lack of a display screen. But, having said that, the absence of a screen adds to the unique nature of this mod.

- The slightly confusing process of building on the Moon Shot.

CONCLUSION

A breath of fresh air – literally! It looks awesome, works great, costs very little and is different and unique in the looks department. This kit is fab, I would definitely recommend it!!!

*NEW MOD REVIEW* Wismec Luxotic kit

THE WISMEC/JAYBO LUXOTIC SQUONK KIT REVIEW

After much success in the mod world, Wismec is joining the game of squonking. There has been a surge in popularity for 'squonking' recently, a method of vaping that involves a bottom fed squeezable bottle (usually made from silicone) that is filled with your preferred eLiquid. This then connects to an RDA via a 'squonk Pin' which is basically a standard 510 connection, but with a hole to allow eliquid to pass from the silicone bottle, through a tube and into the bottom of your RDA. This method is quickly becoming more and more prevalent amongst advanced vapers, due to the ease of use, and eliminating the need to continually drip eLiquid on to your coils – just squeeze the bottle and you are good to go!

I have dabbled in the way of squonkers, however many felt cheap and flimsy, plus the added anxiety of the fact that they have all been mechanical, creating an uneasiness within me, worrying about accidental firing, shorts, leakages and other malfunctions that may arise when utilising a mechanical mod. I was about ready to hang up my attempts at squonking, but then UKVB sent over the brand new Wismec Luxotic...

THE MOD

Straight away, the whole feel of the mod is great. It is weighty and substantial, it didn't feel like it was about to break in my hands and I could tell that it is manufactured with precision and care.

In terms of aesthetics, this mod is sleek, compact and attractive, whilst retaining great build quality. Currently it is available in 3 colour variants, Yellow Honeycomb, Green Honeycomb and a Green/Blue resin. The doors are removable, allowing you to change the colour scheme of your mod. I really like the stainless steel side of this device, it looks very professional and feels durable.

The Luxotic is a single 18650, semi regulated mod that works very much like a mech, but with added safety features such as power limiting protection. Even though this device is semi regulated, it has a maximum output of 100W, making it an ideal choice for big clouds and big flavour. Another positive is the fact you can actually switch the device on or off, giving you the assurance that the mod will not fire when it is in your pocket or handbag etc. It holds a silicone squonk bottle with a capacity of an astounding 7.5ml.

THE RDA

The RDA that comes with the Luxotic kit is the 'Tobhino' a purpose built atomiser, complete with a bottom fed squonk pin. It features a postless deck and is ideal for single coil builds. I really liked the fact that you can actually remove the 510 drip tip, and use the included adapter for an 810 wide bore tip.

I also found that the whole look of the RDA to be sleek and unassuming. It is short and discreet whilst still packing a huge punch.

WHAT I LIKED

I found that the whole set up was extremely easy to use, and provided a great vaping experience, the inhales were hard hitting and the flavour was out of this world. I appreciated that the silicone bottle was a little bit stiff in comparison to other bottles that I have tried, purely down to the fact that it reduces the chance of accidental squeezing.

The Tobhino RDA was incredibly easy to build on, and the airflow adjustments were great and would suit any vaper.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE

Even though I really liked the Luxotic, the fact that you cannot adjust the wattage was a very slight hindrance. Although having said that, the auto regulation on this mod is spot on, and you can guarantee the hit you get will be very satisfying! 

The Luxotic/Tobhino kit has an RRP of £59.99, making it a very decent cost for what you are getting.

Overall, a great little device that I think would suit intermediate vapers who are interested in trying squonking, with a carefully engineered mod but without the huge price tag

Strawberry Mayhem

Strawberry Mayhem is a super ripe and juicy fruit flavour that lingers pleasantly on your tongue. There is no complicated cakeyness or cre

aminess to it, and is much more of a refreshing fruity based flavour. At first I could only notice the sweet strawberry, but after a few puffs, there was a more apparent note of mango (I think!)

The different fruits merge together in a way I can only describe as being very complimentary towards one another. The sweetness of the strawberry is met with the slightly more vivid touch of mango. I could also pick up on perhaps a citrus element to this juice that was nicely included in this already revitalising eLiquid.

I personally enjoyed the refreshing nature of this juice, and by no means is it too sweet to be a contender as an all day vape.

Melon Q-cumber

Melon flavours are all the rage at the moment, but cucumber flavours are certainly few and far between. If I am being honest, I initially thought that I wasn't going to like this juice due to it's slightly alternative flavour description.

But I tried it any ways. And I'm glad I did! To say that this eLiquid was refreshing is a definite understatement, and despite it being a chilly February morning, I could picture this juice being a hit with lots of vapers out there, especially on a warm summers day.

The first sort of flavour that you get with this juice, is a sweet and ripe honeydew melon that is neither too weak, nor too potent - It is in just the right proportion.

On the back of the inhale is when you really start to get the cucumber. It is also not too overbearing, delivering a unique and rewarding edge.

I was really impressed with this eLiquid, and as I mentioned earlier, it will definitely be a go to for summertime all day vapes.

Strawberry Mayhem Ice

So, Strawberry Mayhem was delicious. This is an evolved take on the original, that offers a very slight touch of cool menthol. As you may know, I am not the biggest fan of menthol, however this juice was smooth and fresh. The whole menthol side to it was not in any way over the top, as I find with many other mentholated flavours on the market at the moment.

In many ways this juice is identical to the normal Strawberry Mayhem, the cool edge to this one compliments the fruitier elements.

This juice was tangy and mouth watering, and despite having a touch of menthol, this could appeal to all vapers, whether they like an iciness to their eliquid or not.

Banana Custard

Two of my favourite flavours all mixed in to one! I was very excited to try this flavour down to the fact custards are my absolute number 1 at the moment.

The most noticeable taste to this juice -especially on the inhale, is a creamy, ripe and smooth banana that is carefully blended with a warm and inviting custard. There is a definitive sweet wholesomeness to this eLiquid that makes this juice very more-ish. It was very well concocted and delivered a well balanced and very tasty blend of both of the two main flavour components.

This juice really hit the spot, it was incredibly satisfying to vape. I also liked the fact that, compared to the other flavours in this line, it was something a little bit different. The others were all on the fruity refreshing side, whereas this one was a lot more warm and calming.

Definitely my favourite in this line, it is currently my all day vape, and I'm sure it will be for many vapers.

*NEW JUICE REVIEW* Zom-b Cloud Juice

Zom-B Cloud

The Zom-B Cloud range is based on a popular line of energy drinks. They are available in short-fill form, 50ml eLiquid, 60ml gorilla bottle, leaving enough room for an optional 10ml 18mg nicotine shot.

The VG:PG ratio is 80:20, meaning this line is ideal for drippers and sub ohm tanks. As you could imagine, the high VG percentage results in impressive cloud production.

It is manufactured in Poole, Dorset and is available online and in brick and mortar shop such as Life's a Drag in Parkstone, Poole. It retails, on average, £15.00-£16.00 for 50ml of eLiquid.

This line is based on different flavoured energy drinks. As a huge fan of energy drinks, I was excited to try these eliquids.

I decided that the best way to test out these e Juices was to use an RDA setup, ensuring that I got the best flavour and cloud production possible.

Grizzly Gore

As a vaper, I have tried a handful of energy drink flavoured eLiquids, and they were rather generic and unimpressive. But then I tried Grizzly Gore!!!

This juice is probably my favourite in this line of eLiquids. It is sweet, sour and has a fizziness to it that really makes this flavour pop. You definitely get a pleasant and not too overpowering taste of energy drink (surprise surprise!).

This juice is fantastic, from the inhale all the way to the exhale and aftertaste. It carries well and you can actually appreciate the progression of flavours, as you vape it, and at no point was it unpleasant.

Despite being rather sweet, I could definitely use this juice as my all day vape, due to it's more-ish and appealing flavour.

Especially when using an RDA, I found that Grizzly Gore was just an all-rounder that exceeded my predictions. Great Stuff!

Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever is a delightful blend of ripe, tropical fruits that are expertly mixed to create a refreshing and summery eLiquid.

Right from the get go, you can tell that Yellow Fever is a super fruity juice that hits all the right spots.

The fruity tones taste very realistic, and it kind of felt like I was tucking in to a fresh fruit salad.

There is a slight touch of energy drink, however I think that the fruitiness outweighs it, but not in a bad way!

The whole experience of vaping Yellow Fever was very rewarding to say the least. It lived up to my expectations, it delivered a great set of flavours and was certainly carefully crafted and well made. I particularly enjoyed the sweetness that the fruit brought to the table, as well as the impressive clouds on the exhale.
